Teaching
I design and teach courses in the social and technical history of photography, visual culture, as well as advertising and consumer culture. I have been invited to lecture on topics ranging from bias in visual processing in artificial intelligence, to the history of photography, and the social and technical history of emoji.
I received a diploma in Higher Education Teaching in 2015 from the University of Winnipeg. My objective as a teacher is to provide my students with experience and a variety of tools to be observant, careful, critical thinkers and to motivate them to actively engage in the world around them.
